Package Privacy and Visibility
Doki allows you to "package" up a set of modules from your course's curriculum and sell it at a certain price point. You can also run scheduled drip releases via a "package" with a schedule. Packages have a few different status settings which we discuss below.
Available for sale
This controls whether the package is available for sale or not.
(PUBLIC) When Checked:
- A package that is "Available for sale" shows up on the course's landing page as a purchase option (or "access" option in the case of free courses).
- A package that is "Available for sale" has a checkout page where customers can give you money in exchange for a course.
(PRIVATE) When Unchecked:
Private packages that are not available for sale cannot be seen or sold publicly, but any students who have purchased a course through that package have access to the course once they've logged in. This allows you to have a public sale option during a launch and then move it back to private once you've completed your sales cycle.
Hide from landing page
This visibility switch controls whether the package is available as a purchase option on the course's landing page. The default is not to hide the package from the landing page.
The package does not show up on the landing page as a purchase option. However, if the package is "Available for sale", the checkout page will still be available, so any users that have the link will be able to purchase it still.
When Unchecked (default):
The package shows up on the course's landing page as a purchase option.
